Rodrick Fisher, WSU football player, arrested on “baby DUI”

Rodrick Fisher, a Washington State University football player, was arrested early Friday morning on what’s commonly called a “baby DUI.” 19 year old wide receiver was arrested by a Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputy shortly after Midnight in Pullman on College Hill. Fisher was arrested for minor operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. The sheriff’s office says that the freshman’s blood alcohol level was just below .08. Fisher was arrested and released on the misdemeanor. The Cougar football program doesn’t comment publicly to criminal allegations against it’s players and deems the incident a team matter.

  1. Having trouble understanding how a 19-year old can have a “baby dui.” It is illegal to drink before turning 21 in Washington! There should be no such thing as a “baby dui” if you drink illegally. This needs to be handled by Pullman police, not internally by WSU!!!
