Zaire Webb The Fulmer CupThe theft charge against former Washington State defensive back Zaire Webb has been dismissed due to insufficient evidence, according to Whitman County court records.

Webb and former WSU receiver Anthony White were arrested and accused of shoplifting at the Walmart in Pullman on Oct. 4.

No charges will be filed against Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson (The Fulmer Cup Offseason)

Rodney Anderson The Fulmer CupNo charges will be filed against Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson, who was accused of rape by a former Oklahoma student, after what the district attorney described as a “thorough investigation.”

“Definitely charges are not warranted under these circumstances,” said Greg Mashburn, the Cleveland County district attorney.

West Virginia receiver Marcus Simms has DUI charges dropped

West Virginia receiver Marcus Simms, suspended for Sunday’s game against Virginia Tech, had DUI charges dropped in his home state of Maryland, sources told the Gazette-Mail on Wednesday.

Simms was suspended after being recently charged with DUI early Aug. 13 in Morgantown and found to be driving with a revoked license due to the DUI charges in Maryland.
