USF freshman WR Kevaughn Dingle was arrested by campus police late Friday morning on a felony sexual-battery charge.

An 18-year-old from Miami being redshirted this season, Dingle remains in jail on no bond, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office records.

A USF Police Department release indicates that around 1 a.m. Friday, campus police received a call of a possible sexual battery occurring at the Holly C Residence Hall. The incident reportedly occurred at noon on Thursday, the release says.

USF walk-on tight end Palmore faces charge of credit card fraud

Adrian Palmore, a University of South Florida football player faces charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and petit theft following his arrest by Temple Terrace police on Monday.

Palmore, a walk-on tight end and Lakewood High alumnus, was released Tuesday from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting $750 bail, according to jail records.
