Myller Royals, a Texas Tech football wide receiver was arrested Friday on two misdemeanor charges after a traffic stop on campus by a Tech Police Department officer. Royals was booked into the Lubbock County Jail on charges of possession of a prohibited weapon (knuckles), a Class A misdemeanor, and driving with an invalid license, a Class B misdemeanor. Rodrick Fisher, WSU football player, arrested on “baby DUI”
Rodrick Fisher, a Washington State University football player, was arrested early Friday morning on what’s commonly called a “baby DUI.” 19 year old wide receiver was arrested by a Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputy shortly after Midnight in Pullman on College Hill. Fisher was arrested for minor operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol. The sheriff’s office says that the freshman’s blood alcohol level was just below .08. Fisher was arrested and released on the misdemeanor. The Cougar football program doesn’t comment publicly to criminal allegations against it’s players and deems the incident a team matter.

Gator freshman Justin Watkins arrested for second time, facing felony charges
Gator wide receiver Justin Watkins has been arrested in Gainesville and faces four charges( two felony counts) including two counts battery, kidnapping/false imprisonment. and domestic battery by strangulation.
According to the arrest report, on July 20th, Watkins intentionally struck a woman, both with an open and closed fist on both sides of her head while he held her down on a bed.
The report goes on to say Watkins choked the woman multiple times while continuing to pin her down on the bed.
Police say Watkins then confined the women to his dorm room by standing in the doorway and blocking the exit.
The report says the woman was physically restrained by Watkins until she sprayed him with mace out of self defense.
Police say Watkins then chased the woman out, threw multiple items at her including a brush and container of “hair grease” causing bleeding and swelling.
The Gators have suspended Watkins indefinitely.
This is Watkins second arrest of the offseason. He was charged in May for trespassing near Vanguard High School after following a woman to a gas station, destroying her phone, kicking her car.

USC WR Joseph Lewis Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge for 2nd Time This Year
USC wide receiver Joseph Lewis was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge Wednesday night after an alleged altercation with a woman at a Los Angeles residence.
On Thursday, TMZ Sports reported the woman fled the home and called police, who later arrested Lewis. He was taken into custody on $100,000 bail.
In February, Lewis was arrested on five misdemeanor charges related to a domestic violence case. He accepted a plea deal that saw him serve 21 days in jail.
No further information about the altercation was immediately released.
Lewis was suspended indefinitely from the Trojans’ football program following the February arrest. He told the Los Angeles Times in May that he was hopeful of being reinstated for fall camp, which is scheduled to begin Aug. 3.
The L.A. native was a 5-star prospect and the No. 31 overall player when he committed to USC as part of the 2017 recruiting class, per 247Sports.
He made four catches for 39 yards and no touchdowns in 11 appearances as a true freshman.

Arkansas Razorbacks freshman wide receiver Michael Woods arrested
According to a preliminary arrest report by Fayetteville police, Michael Woods was pulled over after nearly hitting a police car driving in the opposite direction. Woods smelled of alcohol and was given a field sobriety test, then was arrested, according to police. Woods had a blood-alcohol content of .071.
Texas Tech dismisses junior WR Quan Shorts from football program
Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury announced Thursday that junior wide receiver Quan Shorts has been dismissed from the program.
According to Tech athletics spokesman Matt Dowdy, the school will have no further comment on Shorts’ dismissal at this time.
Shorts was one of four Tech football players arrested back in March following an altercation with law enforcement outside of Bash Riprocks Nightclub in Lubbock.
The four players were suspended by Coach Kingsbury, only to be brought back to the team a few days later.
Shorts was booked into Lubbock County Detention Center at 3:41 p.m. today, according to Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. His charges have not been made public yet.

Mississippi State wide receiver Reggie Todd arrested for assault
Mississippi State wide receiver Reggie Todd was arrested Tuesday on an alleged simple assault charge, according to the Oktibbeha County jail log.
Todd has been suspended indefinitely from team activities, Joe Moorhead said in a statement.
In a statement, a spokesman from the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office said that Todd turned himself into the sheriff’s office after warrants were issued for a fight he was allegedly involved with early Sunday morning. The charge is a misdemeanor.
It is believed that the alleged fight was with another male at a house party. Todd, 21, was bonded out. Todd’s initial appearance in Oktibbeha County Justice Court is scheduled for July 10
Todd, who is entering his sophomore season, is one of a handful of Mississippi State receivers battling for playing time and looking to earn a viable role in Joe Moorhead’s offense. There’s a logjam at the position and the opportunity is there for guys to make separation heading into training camp. As a redshirt freshman last season, he had 14 receptions, 160 yards and one touchdown while playing in all 13 games.

Bowling Green football’s Datrin Guyton arrested, suspended
Bowling Green State University football player Datrin Guyton was arrested by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department Saturday and charged with robbery.
The senior receiver is expected to appear in court Monday.
“We continue to gather information on this situation,” BG athletics department spokesman Jason Knavel said in a statement. “Until further notice, Datrin is suspended indefinitely.”
Last season Guyton played in 11 of Bowling Green’s 12 games — he was benched for the Falcons’ contest at Miami — and started five times. He finished with 31 catches for 585 yards, good for third-best on the team in both categories, and had two touchdown catches.
Guyton had two games with at least 100 receiving yards, including 158 yards on five catches against South Dakota and 112 yards on five catches in the season finale at Eastern Michigan.
A native of Manor, Texas, the 22-year-old Guyton began his college career at Oregon State, where as a redshirt freshmen he caught 14 passes for 178 yards in eight games before he was dismissed from the team for “violation of athletic department and team rules as it relates to the expectations of a student-athlete” during the 2015 season.
In 2016, he played at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and had 31 catches for 471 yards and three scores.
Guyton is the second Bowling Green receiver to land in trouble this offseason. Matt Wilcox left the team after he was charged with OVI in April.
