Rasheed Walker, a freshman offensive lineman, is charged with misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property following an incident Sept. 11. According to the Centre Daily Times, Walker took a bike from outside the Morgan Academic Center, located near Penn State’s football building.
According to the police report, Walker admitted to taking the bike because “he did not feel like walking back to his residence building,” the Centre Daily Times wrote, quoting a police report.
Charges were filed Tuesday in Centre County. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31.
Walker has played in two games this season, according to Penn State’s participation records.
